Following my buddy, I attended geography and economics with great expectation. Geography class is quite plain and boring, for now they are covering chapters about globalization and TNCs' impact. We have also studied the case of Toyota, which is quite astonishing to find that economy entities like these kind have greater impact on globalization than most independent countries. However, on the whole, geography is not very interesting and even my buddy regards it as the most boring course.
Contrary to geography, economics is really impressive to me. I've read some economics book in my leisure time so these terminologies didn't sound very strange to me. Though students were not very active in the economics lecture, they were obviously really focused on taking lecture notes. I just felt a little disappointed that there were not so many discussion on economic principles which I expected. Maybe it is related to the style of school based on reflection from students who attend other junior colleges. Also, my buddy told me that students in AJC are probably the most hard working and nerdy one and college is now trying to change this kind of nerdy atmosphere a little.
So much for these two subjects, I am going to attend Chinese Literature tomorrow! Can't be more excited about it!
